The company has taken on a new construction manager to strengthen its presence in the west
of the region.

With his local roots, solid reputation and 25 years of experience in the industry, Bleddyn Jones, 50, was chosen as the ideal candidate to bolster K&C Group’s construction arm.

Originally qualified as a chartered quantity surveyor at Liverpool John Moore’s University, Welsh speaker Bleddyn will manage K&C’s commercial and residential developments in North West Wales.

He said: “I’m delighted to have joined the team at K&C. They have a fantastic reputation in
North Wales and a strong order book, despite what has been a difficult time for the construction industry.

“I am looking forward to helping K&C expand their business further and boost their position
in the west of the region.”

Married father of two Bleddyn, originally from Pwllheli, will be overseeing K&C’s ongoing projects, including an extra care unit for housing association Cymdeithas Tai Eryri and a residential
development in Holyhead, as well as another housing venture in his home town of Bangor.
He will also take control of forthcoming ventures, including an extra care unit in Bangor, where
work is due to begin in the new year.

His previous portfolio of work includes hotels and restaurants, including Brewers Fayre and
Travel Inn, shopping centres, student accommodation schemes nationally, leisure centres and residential developments while working for building contractors Watkin Jones and Chandler
KBS, a project management and cost consultancy firm.
