Marine and Built Environment Centre, Coleg Llandrillo completes ahead of schedule |

K&C are delighted to announce that completion has taken place two months ahead of schedule of the £9m Marine and Built Environment Centre at the Rhos on Sea Campus of Coleg Llandrillo Cymru. The centre will provide specialist training for marine/boat building, and instruction on the use of renewable energy, including wind, solar power and ground source heat pumps and sustainable construction techniques and energy efficient practices.
This 4,800 sq ft three-storey project has also been nominated for a LABC award in the Sustainability category. It has been designed to the highest possible environmental standards with the aim of achieving a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ standard and will meet the growing local/regional demand for training to support the evolving construction industry, and the longer term potential of renewable energy sources.
