This scheme was a Design & Construct project which achieved a BREEAM rating of Excellent, the building includes modern facilities for teaching of marine and boat building skills including GRP propulsion systems and marine electronic all being taught alongside the more traditional construction and engineering subject. The centre will also provide instruction on the use of renewable energy including wind, solar power and ground source heat pumps.
